Each and every one of you are necessary for the success of this choir, so it is mandatory that you are present at every concert. There will be 4 formal concerts this year. They begin at 7:00 P.M.; however, you are required to arrive no later than 5:00 P.M. Roll will be taken at call time and you must be ready to warm-up and be completely dressed in the appropriate choir uniform. Warm-up is worth 100 points and you must participate fully for the rest of the concert to earn the other 100 points, for a total of 200 points for each concert. Dress rehearsals will follow the same guidelines. If you miss a concert for an unexcused reason your quarter grade will drop by two letters. I hope you understand the importance of being dedicated to a group where everyone is an essential member. Other festivals and concerts will occur during the year, in which you will also be required to attend. I will make every effort to give you at least 2 weeks advance notice.
